Master Gardener and Guest Speaker
Christine Paris is a passionate advocate for sustainable living and a seasoned expert in gardening and food production. With over 30 years of experience cultivating everything from lettuce and tomatoes to longevity spinach, bananas, and papayas, Christine embodies the joy and practicality of growing delicious, nutrient-rich food. Her journey has taken her from an English Country-inspired native garden in California to a lush Permaculture-style food forest in New Zealand, where she earned her certification as a Permaculture Designer and discovered a lifelong passion for homegrown produce and sustainable systems.
Since moving to Florida, Christine has dedicated herself to sharing her expertise with others. As a Master Gardener with Flagler County, she teaches Florida-Friendly Edible Landscaping and Vegetable Gardening, empowering individuals to create productive, eco-conscious gardens. She manages the raised beds at the Flagler County Extension Center, where she has implemented innovative gardening systems such as the Grocery Row garden, inspired by the techniques of David the Good. At her own home in Palm Coast, Christine has cultivated an edible landscape that showcases the harmony between beauty and functionality.
Christine is committed to helping others embrace the joys of growing their own food. Whether designing and installing landscapes that combine herbs, fruit trees, and vegetables, creating permaculture food forests, or simply setting up raised beds and herb gardens, she works closely with individuals to turn their gardening dreams into reality.
Join Christine Paris at the Peace Gathering as she shares her wealth of knowledge about setting up a backyard Permaculture Food Forest and inspires us all to cultivate abundance, sustainability, and connection with the earth.
