Connecting, Collaborating and Caring
Connecting, collaborating, and caring. I believe human connection is critical to our existence. We are social beings. Sure, some of us might prefer to live alone in the woods of Alaska, and there’s a time and place for that—to get away and be with ourselves and our spirits. But overall, I know that human connection is essential. And connection takes time and investment—investment in myself and in the relationships I build with others.
Connecting is also a key part of business and growth. We help each other thrive in this 3D world when we connect. I remind myself to take the time to connect and stay connected.
Collaborating, to me, means coming together to work on shared projects or supporting someone by volunteering or trading my time and talents. Collaboration is such a powerful way to succeed because when I share my passions and talents with others, they often inspire me in return. That shared energy keeps me moving forward in my work and in life.
And then there’s caring. I’ve come to see how important it is to give and receive care. When I care for someone, I’m showing compassion—not just for their project or their work, but for who they are as a person. I also see the beauty of caring for people I’ve never met, whether it’s during the California fires, Midwest snowstorms, North Carolina flooding, hurricanes in Florida, or wars across the globe. These moments remind me of what we’re capable of when we come together.
To me, compassion and care are the truest expressions of the human spirit—connecting, collaborating, and caring for one another. This is how I choose to live. Peace.
